When we started to investigate streamers we got puzzled and a bit confused. Even with our many years of audio experience many streamers made us irritated and left us of with a impression saying that this is not for us.

Hopeless user interfaces, instability, drop outs and moving from a simple solution with a cool sounding turntable or compact disc player for ending up with a black box that turned us off. We like simplicity and was not that much hooked on streaming.

Then one day a customer brought his device and want to use this while testing our amplifiers. He had a Innuos ZenMini mk2. He hooked it up with our interconnects and a a CAT 5 cable connecting to our router. Grabbed his iPhone and hit the ROON icon. Voila music out of the speakers. See that make sense. We looked in to the Innuos model range and decided that we wanted to present them. Here they are.

We like that they can be a ROON core and controlled using the ROON software on tablets. We use the streaming services provided by Qobuz and Tidal. They offer "standard" resolution and "High Definition" files. Qobuz, Tidal and ROON is a match made in heaven. We also like that we can rip our cd's to the internal hard disc. In fact the cd's played back from the Innuos sounded better than from a high quality compact disc player.
